You will be advised of the approximate turnaround time and you can specify
a maximum repair value for us to proceed. |
| Alternatively you can request a comprehensive
quotation detailing all parts and labour charges before giving authorization.
You decide if the repair is economical and we'll ensure that it is back
working with you in the shortest possible period. |

Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) 1998
introduced a significant new emphasis on employers' responsibilities to
their employees. To help you meet your obligations
specifically for ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, TOOLTRADE now offers safety
testing. |
| Benefit
from TOOLTRADE's established procedures, which demand stringent safety tests
after every use. TOOLTRADE has the facility to load and flash test
your electrical equipment, and we can notify you when the next test
becomes due. |
| Simply
call in at TOOLTRADE and our trained (CITY & GUILDS 2377) operatives will safety test your
equipment; check the plug, fuse and cable; and tag for your records.
Note that your obligation extends to regular checks of all electrical
devices in the workplace including computers, printers, coffee machines
etc... |

practice for in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment
indicates the recommended frequency of safety testing for your own
portable electrical equipment.
